Romania
Rufus and Dee Whynot are the founders of Yielded Vessels Ministry and Family Aid Foundation. They are the parents to the rest of the YVM/FAF family. The Whynots began their ministry in 1984, spending their first four years on the mission field in Guatemala working with Living Water Teaching. From 1988 through 1994, they worked in and from Berlin, Germany. There they founded a church (still going strong today) and traveled to work with international students in various university cities of Eastern Europe.
In January 1995, they moved to Cluj-Napoca, Romania, to establish FAF where they lead missionaries from four nations as well as a strong Romanian staff. Since 1995, Pastor Rufus and Dee Whynot have reached out to the people of Romania. The church and Yielded Vessels Ministries are located in Cluj-Napoca, the capitol of Transylvania, and are currently focusing on three main areas of need:
